Advanced Keyword Usage - Once you fully understand the usage of the basic keywords, this advanced section will show you how to really make the Tapgad mail service really easy to use!

compose email...(this is not a keyword)
Composing an email on your phone will send an email to your recipient as if it came from your email account! So if your email account is johndoe@gmail.com, then whoever you are sending it to would receive an email from johndoe@gmail.com.

Text the following to mail@tapgad.com:
  • recipient_email@their_account.com: Type your message here after the colon. Thanks.

  • Example is -> mary.jones@gmail.com: hey, what are you doing tonight? give me a call later if you want to meet up. thanks, John
peek [#'s]
Text the following:
  • peek by itself and you'll get a 1 text message preview of all your messages. This is a substitute for the check keyword. Both should not be used in the same email checking session.

  • peek 1 2 3 will send you 1 text message of message 1, 2, and 3 that are from the check command. That means you must do the check command before using peek in this format.
read # [limit]
Text the following:
  • read 1 3 and you'll get a 3 text messages from message number 1. Once again, you must have done the check command first.
